Join us in shaping exceptional teaching across our school. We are seeking a dynamic practitioner to work alongside the Assistant Headteacher for Teaching and Learning, driving excellence in every classroom.

Your opportunity

In this influential role, you will model outstanding practice aligned with our Beacon Six strategies, coach and mentor colleagues, contribute to the rigorous monitoring of teaching and learning, and play a key part in delivering our whole‑school Teaching and Learning vision.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference within our school community while modelling excellence and driving continuous improvement in Teaching and Learning.

  • Understanding of quality in learning and teaching and how to achieve excellence
  • Successful experience of raising standards for all with measurable outcomes
  • Experience of working in collaboration other educational bodies and the wider community to develop positive relationships
  • Knowledge of primary principles and practice
  • Be proactive, reflective, and solution-focused, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

The Details

Start Date: April 2026 

Salary: GLF LP Point 8 - 12 - £63,272 - £69,674 FTE (Fringe)

Contract: Permanent Part-Time (50th/100ths)
