The GLA

The Gloucestershire Learning Alliance (GLA) was formed in 2013 by three primary schools coming together - Bishops Cleeve Primary Academy, Rowanfield Junior School, and Springbank Primary Academy. The Trust has grown organically since its inception in Gloucestershire and we currently operate 10 schools within both Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, employing 420 people and educating approximately 2600 children.

Our schools are:

- Badsey First School

- Bishops Cleeve Primary Academy

- Carrant Brook Junior School

- Churchdown Village Infant School

- Longford Park Primary Academy

- Great Oldbury Primary Academy

- Rowanfield Infant School

- Rowanfield Junior School

- Springbank Primary Academy

- Tredington Primary School

Our Vision

We have a strong vision of outstanding outcomes for children, supported by a clear and aligned education model and school improvement strategy.

The creation of the GLA was a natural progression of our belief in a partnership ethos and our determination to ensure that more young people receive an exceptional education through Quality First Teaching.

Equity - We are committed to equity

We direct resources and people flexibly and precisely, when and where they are needed, so that all children across the Trust can achieve their potential.

Opportunity - We create opportunity

As a learning community we don’t stand still. We encourage all staff to embrace the opportunities on offer to grow and develop their expertise, whatever their role.

Expertise - We champion expertise

We develop and share our skills and knowledge, within and between our schools, for the benefit of all children.

Evidence - We are evidence-led

Within our Trust schools, decision-making is thoughtful, thorough and based on evidence of what makes the biggest difference to children.

Community - We are a community

We know that we’re stronger together; sharing high expectations, nurturing and supporting each other to overcome our challenges and celebrate our successes.
