Points 14 (£44,046) to 18 (£48,224)
Full-time from August/September 2024
35 days annual leave and access to Teachers or LGPS Pension
An incredible leadership opportunity has arisen to lead and develop learning support provision within our Trust. We are in a period of growth and development and this role will work with the senior team to help us in realising our mission and vision. The ALS Manager will provide operational leadership of services and resources that enable all students to succeed and progress, with a particular focus on those with learning difficulties and disabilities.
This role and provides a wonderful opportunity to:
• Shape the leadership and development of the Learning Support provision for Trust colleges;
• Deliver high-quality additional learning support services across the Trust for all learners, leading to high levels of achievement, retention and progression;
• Lead high-quality Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) annual review processes;
• Lead the development of exam access arrangement, including assessment, intervention and developing the use of assistive technologies;
• Maximise high needs funding income and financial forecasting to support growth and development of services to our students;
• Develop innovative programmes and services to enable all students to thrive and unlock their potential during their studies with the Lighthouse Learning Trust.
The postholder will be the Trust Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) will be responsible for leading college teams to ensure all students have access to the support and opportunities required to develop the values and wider skills needed to secure success in their studies and life.

The role provides an excellent opportunity to build, shape and manage our learning support services functions; to develop and deliver projects and execute a programme of campaigns and events; and to shape innovative services which are essential to the continued development of the Trust.
