STUDENT SERVICES MANAGER
Salary: £38,321
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
We have a great opportunity for a caring, personable and compassionate individual to join us in the role of Student Services Manager. Responsible for managing the social, moral and spiritual well-being of the students across the college communities as well as undertaken duties as college based Designated Safeguarding Lead, the successful candidate will lead a passionate and enthusiastic team who work closely together to ensure we deliver first-rate pastoral care for all our students. Applicants should be professional, personable and committed to providing an excellent service on behalf of the college and wider Trust, and above all else our appointed candidate will have a positive work ethic and can-do attitude.
Prior experience in leading or supporting pastoral services to young people is essential. Our ideal candidate will bring with them the leadership skills to develop the team with clear vision and purpose, and have a drive to continue to develop the quality of the support we offer our students. They will be able to foster excellent working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and contacts both within the college and external agencies, and will have a positive mind-set that means they will go over and above to support our students without a moment’s hesitation. You will have the ability to build rapport with people in and around the College community and inspire students to reach their full potential.
All successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure and safer recruitment checks.
