Job Overview
The Newbridge School in Coalville is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to provide confidential, efficient, and flexible administrative support to the school. This role is integral to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the Head of School and Executive Principal in delivering an outstanding educational experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a courteous reception service, responding to queries via telephone, email, and in person.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed for all visitors entering the school site.
- Distribute information and documentation to the school community as required.
- Operate standard office equipment and manage general office duties, including filing, post, stock maintenance, and email correspondence.
- Process routine documentation, check for completeness, and resolve basic issues.
- Input and extract data from computer systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support pupil welfare duties, including administering medicines and first aid when necessary.
- Assist teaching staff with school trip administration and other events.
- Support the day-to-day running of the school, including breakfast club duties, food preparation, and compliance with hygiene and safeguarding regulations.
- Undertake training to act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
