At the Cedars Academy we believe in being kind, working hard, and taking responsibility. We are seeking a passionate, committed and inspiring teacher to join our brilliant Creative Faculty to teach Product Design and Construction (or be willing to learn to teach Construction).

We are currently looking to recruit a:

Design Technology Teacher – on a permanent, part-time 0.2 (1 day per week) contract starting as soon as possible

Based at The Cedars Academy in Birstall, part of the Lionheart Academies Trust

Salary: Main or Upper Pay Range

Visitors always comment on the large, high quality products pupils make for their projects and our Product Design Team are rightly proud of their focus on skills and making products. You will have your own large and fully resourced workshop, which overlooks the front playing fields, as a teaching base and the team also has a full-time technician.
