Job Title: Emotional Literacy Support Assistant - ELSA

Based within the Alternative Provision Centre at The Castle Rock School, part of the Lionheart Educational Trust

Responsible to: Head of the Alternative Provision Centre

Salary: Grade 6 £20,449 to £20,792 Actual

Hours: 37 hours per week. Term Time only + 5 days (39 weeks per year).

We are looking for a dynamic, committed and talented HLTA, to develop and support the growth of an outstanding Trust-wide Alternative Provision.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Trust Leaders of Lionheart’s Alternative Provision and the teachers to implement effective practice for students who may be disengaged from mainstream education to ensure they are provided for in the most effective ways. They will be creative in their thinking and a strong communicator, ensuring that learners’ educational and holistic needs are met.

The candidate chosen will be focused on learners achieving success including young people with SEND who, with their support, will make rapid progress in line with Lionheart expectations.
