Finance Officer

Location: Lionheart Educational Trust

Salary: Grade 8/9 – Scale Points 15-22 (£28,605-£34,359 – pay award pending)

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Reporting To: Finance (CPT) Team Leader

About the Role

Lionheart Educational Trust is seeking a proactive and motivated  Finance Officer  to promote and provide an effective and efficient finance service for the Trust, ensuring compliance with financial processes and operational controls within the Trust.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• To ensure effective and efficient delivery of financial administration support processes

• To check, code and process purchase invoices

• To check, code and process purchase orders 

• To check, code and process credit card orders

• Liaise with suppliers and respond to their queries in a timely and accurate manner

• To check, code and process staff expense claims

• To check, code and process pupil payments e.g. refunds, bursaries

• Undertake payroll tasks such as processing timesheets, contract changes etc and dealing with subsequent queries

• To check, code and process central sales invoices

• Posting and reconciliation of central bank account

• Any other relevant duties as required by the Financial Controller and Central Processing Team
