We are currently looking to recruit a:

Head of Design Technology (preferably with a Food Technology background but not essential) – on a permanent contract starting Friday 21 August 2026 – Full Time.

Based at Humphrey Perkins School, part of the Lionheart Educational Trust.

Salary: Main or Upper Pay Range plus TLR2b (£5871)

We are looking to appoint an outstanding head of department who can lead the Creative faculty in delivering consistently high-quality lessons for our pupils. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and effective teacher to join our excellent school, and continue their career in teaching and learning leadership.

The sense of community is key at our school, and we always welcome new teachers warmly and with enthusiasm.  As part of our school community, you will play a key role in shaping academic progress of pupils within your year group, while delivering high quality ADT teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4. We firmly believe in academic excellence for all no matter background, and work as a team to get the very best outcomes for our pupils, whilst also placing huge value in their holistic development.
