Are you passionate about helping young people succeed? Do you want a rewarding role where no two days are the same?

Martin High School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our inclusive and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to support learners and help them access a high-quality education, enabling them to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

Martin High School is an 11-16 secondary school in Anstey committed to high standards, raising attainment, and ensuring every learner can thrive. We are driven by a shared commitment to excellence and place pupil success at the heart of everything we do. Our vibrant and engaging curriculum inspires a love of learning while preparing young people for the next stage of their lives.

Supporting learners to access learning opportunities both in and outside the classroom.

Assisting teachers in delivering agreed educational and support plans.

Providing support with literacy, numeracy, social development, and emotional wellbeing.

Encouraging learners to develop independence, confidence, and resilience.

Working collaboratively with teaching staff, families, and external professionals where appropriate.

Following school policies and procedures and contributing positively to the wider life of the school.

Maintaining awareness of relevant school and statutory frameworks that inform work with learners.

Supporting with duties during learners break and lunchtimes
