Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – 32.5 Hours
Highcliffe Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and conscientious Learning Support Assistant to work within the school.
You will need to have:
•Significant previous experience working with children with complex behavioural, emotional, developmental, physical, speech and language and learning needs - this may include qualifications
• Experience working in KS1 and KS2 settings is desirable
•The ability to establish a good rapport with children from a broad range of languages and cultures
•Positive behaviour management skills
•Experience working with children that have special needs - in a mainstream primary setting

The successful candidate will work with pupils under the guidance of the class teacher, the SENDCO and our Senior Leadership Team to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning to help raise standards of achievement and sure that all pupils have access to all that is on offer at Highcliffe. We are looking for a hard working enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our dedicated and talented support team. The role may include the need to support our high needs pupils including intimate care. Our children are highly engaged in learning, motivated and enjoy coming to school each day.
The post is for 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only)
Fixed term until August 2027
Essential Requirements
• GCSE Maths and English
• Previous experience of working with SEND/ school environment
• Relevant level 3 qualification or currently working towards

Grade 5, point 7. Actual Salary - £25,191
