Midday Supervisor
9.75 hours per week (38 weeks)
County Grade 3 Point 3- 4 (actual salary £5377.60)
We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our team supervising students throughout the lunchtime period. We are looking for someone with a high level of interpersonal skills who can communicate well with students and encourage their positive social interaction and behaviour.
The main duties include:
• To follow instructions regarding lunchtime arrangements
• To communicate with students, encouraging their positive social interaction and good behaviour and promote acceptable standards of behaviour in compliance with laid down procedures
• To perform all tasks in a calm and orderly manner, and where required in compliance with the relevant procedures
• To be responsible for dealing with accidences / or problems of discipline during lunchtime
• To ensure that health and safety requirements are adhered to
• To regulate the admission of students into the dining hall and supervise student behaviour in the dining hall
• To supervise students in the grounds and report any serious occurrence to the Dinner Duty Manager /Principal as necessary
• Cleaning of tables and floors
