Sir Jonathan North College is an outstanding secondary school in Leicester which is constantly growing and looking to improve. We are seeking an experienced PA / HR Officer who has ideally worked within a busy school. The ideal candidate should have good customer service, ICT and communication skills. We are seeking an individual who is well-organised, efficient, flexible, calm, friendly, motivated and passionate about providing an excellent support service to our children, staff and visitors. Continuous training will be given to further enhance your development within the school.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

This is a key post within the college which requires dedication and a highly efficient and responsible approach. It requires working closely with the College Principal and being able to give their requirements first priority. The post therefore, calls for the ability to work on one’s own, to use judgement and initiative. The ability to remain calm and controlled under pressure of working in a very demanding and constantly changing environment is required, as is an accurate and methodical approach to HR.

YOU WILL HAVE:

The ability to work on your own initiative.

Experience of communication with parents on a professional basis.

Attainment of GCSE’s or equivalent, to include English and Maths at minimum grade C/5.

HOURS OF WORK AND PAY SCALE

Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week 40 weeks of the year (term time plus 2 weeks to be worked in agreement with the Principals)

SALARY: Grade 8 Point 15 - 18 FTE £26,427.00 to £28,776.00 (Actual salary £23,184.00 to £25,245.00)

RESPONSIBLE TO: Executive Principal/Associate Principal
