PE Teacher – on a permanent contract - one day per week from 22 August 2025

Formerly known as Longslade, The Cedars Academy has a long-standing reputation for delivering excellent education to the community of Birstall, just north of Leicester city centre. In 2015 the school gained academy status and joined the Lionheart Educational Trust (led by Beauchamp College, Oadby). This affords us the opportunity to regularly collaborate with colleagues from a wide range of secondary schools across Leicester city and Leicestershire.
The PE department at The Cedars Academy are dedicated to working as part of a close team. Through the support of each other and extensive centralised planning, they engage our learners to bring about the very best outcomes at KK3 and KS4. We are looking for an inspirational teacher who can further strengthen our team.
