A SEN Mentor will work under the direction and supervision of the SENCO to contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities for small groups and individual pupils. A SEN Mentor may also undertake day-to day management responsibility for LSA’s and contribute to policy and strategic development. This role will include a focus on KS4-KS5 transition and the delivery of study skills, organisational skills as well as liaising with class teachers, student support staff, students and parents. Regular meetings with individual pupils will be required to meet SEN needs.  Contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities for small groups and individual pupils.
