Mercia Academy is seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of Business to join our vibrant and forward-thinking team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality Business Studies education at GCSE level, inspiring students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective Business Studies lessons across the age and ability range.
Support student progress and personal development through high-quality teaching and tutoring.
Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and departmental development.
Participate in Academy-wide initiatives and planning activities.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Qualified Teacher Status and a relevant degree.
Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies.
Evidence of successful and innovative teaching.
ICT proficiency and commitment to extended learning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for student development and inclusive education.
Desirable:
Experience teaching Accounting or mixed ability groups.
Knowledge of vocational pathways and Ofsted framework.
Postgraduate qualification or higher degree.
Contribution to whole-school development and community engagement.
