We are seeking a Modern Foreign Languages teacher to which will include Team leader to join an already successful team of practitioners. We are looking for a passionate languages teacher who can bring global cultures to life, stimulate learners to step outside of their comfort zone, and maintain high levels of learning within a positive and fun language-learning environment.

The role will also include Team lead to undertake this role you will :
• contribute to an appropriate environment for student learning by providing the strategic leadership and management.
• To secure high levels of engagement with staff, students, parents and the wider learning communities.
• To be a member of the Leadership Team and lead on a key area identified as a strategic need for the school
Key Tasks and Activities:
Corporate:
• Be a member of the Leadership Team to contribute to the leadership, management, operation and development of the Academy in order to promote outstanding learning and teaching.
• To take a full and active part in the operational leadership and management of the school.
• Contribute to system leadership through purposeful collaboration with partner academies and other organisations.
• Use the provision of leadership and management time to order to be effective in the execution of the role of Team Leader.
• To provide robust and challenging line management of departments as appropriate.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Planning, resourcing and delivering engaging languages lessons to all of key stage 3 and 4
- Working with the Head of MFL to integrate languages into the curriculum at every opportunity possible
- Create immersive learning experiences
- Create opportunity for all students to achieve in languages, irrespective of ability
- . Act as an ambassador for the school by supporting our values and expectations of learning.
- Be a significant presence and role model for pupils and staff and to meet fully the Centre dress code.
- Follow and where appropriate enact all relevant school policies, procedures and guidelines.
- .Contribute to school development through team planning and review meetings.
- To participate in the school performance management scheme.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- A Good Honours Degree.
- Well qualified and enthusiastic
- Able to teach Modern Foreign Languages across all key stages
- Passionate about Modern Foreign Languages and committed to improving teaching and learning
- Forward thinking, creative, receptive to change and able to work with the team.
- A detailed knowledge of the curriculum and its means of delivery.
- The ability to work towards deadlines
