📍 Location: The Newbridge School

📅 Contract: Full-time | Permanent

💼 Salary: MPS / UPS

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Maths to join our committed and supportive team at The Newbridge School. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated teacher, whether at the beginning of their career or looking to further develop their practice, to thrive within a nurturing and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging, inclusive, and challenging Maths lessons that inspire students to develop confidence, curiosity, and a positive attitude towards mathematics. You will help students build strong numeracy, problem-solving, and analytical skills, enabling them to achieve their full potential both academically and in everyday life. Working closely with experienced colleagues, pastoral teams, and wider professionals, you will support students in overcoming barriers to learning and achieving success.

As part of your role, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the Maths curriculum, using a range of teaching strategies to engage learners of all abilities. You will assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing timely feedback and targeted interventions to support achievement and close learning gaps. Particular emphasis will be placed on developing mathematical reasoning, fluency, and resilience, ensuring students are equipped with the skills needed for further education and future careers.

You will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, fostering high expectations, and creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The successful candidate will be committed to raising standards, contributing to the wider life of the school, and supporting the continued development of the Maths department through collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to excellence.
