We are delighted to offer the opportunity for a talented and inspirational Teacher of Religious Studies to join our outstanding team from August 2026. This vacancy offers flexibility and will be appointed as either: a full-time post, teaching Religious Studies and History, or a part-time post teaching Religious Studies only. The final structure of the role will be determined by the skills and experience of the successful candidate. Beauchamp College is a thriving secondary school in south Leicestershire, delivering Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. We are proud of our strong academic outcomes and our commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.

The Religious Studies department consists of four subject specialists and is very well resourced across all three key stages. We enjoy excellent examination success at both GCSE and A Level and we are seeking a diligent and committed professional, who can deliver consistently high-quality lessons for our students. A natural team player, we are looking for a teacher who can integrate themselves well into a successful team. We are seeking to appoint an exceptional colleague with strong knowledge and passion for Religious Studies and who is committed to improving achievement.

In KS4 all students follow AQA GCSE Religious Studies Specifictaion A in Christianity, Buddhism and Thematic Studies. Students have a two 50-minute lessons a week. For those who continue to A Level, they study Philosophy, Ethics and Developments in Christian Thought. We are proud of our track record and this year’s students achieved another set of outstanding GCSE and A Level results. This is accomplished through a collegiate approach, a desire for self-improvement, a good sense of humour and an attitude that is unafraid of change.
