Job Title: Trust Academic Lead – Mathematics
Pay Grade: VP Leadership Scale
Hours: Full Time
Responsible To: Associate Principal and Director of Curriculum
Purpose of Role: To provide strategic and operational leadership for the provision of Key Stage 5 Mathematics across the Trust.
To complement the existing senior leadership team at a Trust school by providing strategic and operational leadership for all teaching and learning activities.
We are looking for a passionate and committed education who can support the development of our A-Level Mathematics provision alongside working as a senior leader within one of our schools with a specific focus on academic standards and outcomes. This will be Mercia Academy in Swadlincote, initially.
You will need to have extensive qualified experience of teaching Mathematics at A-Level, as well as experience of working at a senior leadership level within at least one secondary school. Experience of successful curriculum development and innovation as well as an ability to form strong relationships with various stakeholders across the trust and within the Mercia Academy community are essential.
