Wrap Around Care Assistant
Working hours per week (12.5 hours) - 5 hours in am – 7.30-8.30am
7.5 hours in pm 3.00-4.30pm
Start Date – January 2026 - 10th July 2026
Salary: Grade 5 point 7

Riverside Primary School wishes to appoint an after-school club practitioner to lead a small after school provision.

Purpose of Job:
• Supervise children attending After School Club.
• Managing and leading a team of staff and taking responsibility for all relevant paperwork and administration. (when applicable)
• Develop, implement and review the policies procedures and practices within the provision.
• Take a lead role in the promotion of the provision, and liaise with parents
• To plan and prepare appropriate activities for children’s social education and to encourage co-operation.
• To be responsible for children’s safety, monitor their well-being and ensure good behaviour.

The right candidate will have:
• Previous administration or childcare qualifications/ experience.
• A proven ability to work on their own initiative.

• A commitment to the happiness well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.
