Walton Oak Primary School is looking to recruit a caring and enthusiastic person to join our After School Club team. Main responsibilities include the set up and leading of engaging activities including crafts, role play and games. In addition, After School Club team members are responsible for the preparation and serving of food for the children. The right candidate will be willing to engage children in exciting play that makes them feel welcome and settled in our After School Clubs.

Walton Oak Primary School is a two form entry primary school which enjoys a vibrant community and a strong team committed to ensuring the provision is right for every child.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Wants to work in a provision that is stimulating, safe, caring and creative
  • Has a good level of written and spoken English
  • Will support Breakfast and After School Club leaders, following policies in regards to safeguarding
  • Is proactive
  • Able to work as part of a team and be flexible
  • Uses their own initiative to suggest and implement creative ideas.

Hours & Salary:

  • This is a term time post (38 weeks), plus one week of which is training hours.
  • After School Club is 3:10pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
