Early Years Teaching Assistant with level 3 qualification

Darley Dene Primary is a one form entry nursery and primary school in Addlestone Surrey with a diverse catchment and a wonderful team spirit. We have a strong reputation for working collaboratively with other local schools and are constantly on the look-out for opportunities to enhance our provision. The right candidate will be joining a strong, professional team of enthusiastic staff who will work alongside you in a supportive and constructive way.

We are looking to appoint An Early Years teaching assistant who has a passion for creating life long learners, is committed to inclusion and equality and has high expectations of themselves and every child. We are looking for somebody who is

not afraid to make mud pies and, if asked to be a zoo keeper, can jump into role and immerse themselves in the

children’s play. We are looking to appoint somebody who can be flexible and support learning in a creative way.

Working Hours – 31.65 hours per week, term time only, to be worked Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.20pm Term Time only.

We are looking particularly for someone who has:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of personal and emotional resilience
  • Lots of patience
  • Capacity to be flexible
  • Ability and confidence to use initiative whilst respecting advice from professionals
  • Somebody who has a minimum of Level 3 Qualification is essential
