Attendance Officer

Required asap - 30 hours per week, working across 5 days Monday – Friday, term time only plus Inset days. Starting salary of Grade 15 (£10.78ph). Job share or part time applications will be considered

We are looking for a friendly, skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team to provide an efficient and effective attendance service to the school, including analysis and tracking of attendance to identify issues and inform staff as appropriate. You will contribute to raising achievement by improving school attendance, promote positive attitudes and support our families with appropriate advice and guidance.

We require someone who is:

• Organised, flexible, and able to work on your own initiative, coping with the various demands of a busy role

• Friendly, confident and approachable

• An excellent communicator with a professional manner

• Confident in the use of IT.

• Supports the Academy’s vision and values

• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills.

• Experience of working in schools is highly desirable.
