Parent Support Advisor - to start asap

32 hours 30 minutes per week, Monday to Friday. Term time only, Grade 13 (£20,043 - £22,129) pro rata. Job share or part time applications will be considered, however this will be on a 20 hour and 12 hour 30 minute split

We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and innovative Parent Support Advisor with at least 2 years’ experience to support the work of the academy.

The successful candidate would be required to provide parenting support and information whilst understanding the primary rights and responsibilities of parents to raise their children and help them improve their parenting skills, provide information or refer them to an appropriate service of help and advice. You will ensure that families are well supported and assist with improving attendance across the Academy.

• The ideal candidate will have:

o At least 2 years’ experience in the classroom

o A level III in a relevant qualification

o excellent classroom and behaviour management

o experience in delivering interventions

o a commitment to supporting and developing learning programmes for individuals and groups of children
