Are you an energetic and inspiring SENDCo with vision, drive and a passion for inclusion? This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a positive, whole-school impact as SENDCo and as a member of the Woodlea Senior Leadership Team, building on the strong inclusive practice already in place.
This is a two day part-time position with opportunity for flexible hours for the right candidate. You will be able to build on a strong foundation, with our recent Ofsted inspection (April 2025) recognising the school’s commitment to ensuring that “The school makes decisions with pupils’ best interests at heart.” You will be supported by a strong and committed school team, local governance and a welcoming Board of Trustees. In addition, you will work alongside SENDCos from across the Trust, who meet regularly to strengthen our shared commitment to inclusion and belonging.
As a community, we work together to create a caring and inclusive environment in which pupils can thrive intellectually, emotionally and socially. You should be an exceptional teacher who can provide demonstrative and aspirational guidance in relation to the development and implementation of the SEND provision at Woodlea. You must be able to work closely with parents/ carers; support and secure high-quality learning, effective use of resources and improved standards of achievement by bringing experience, energy, enthusiasm and determination to the role.
We can offer:
• Happy, motivated children, bursting with enthusiasm and pride for their school
• Supportive, talented and forward thinking collages within our school and across the MAT.
• Commitment to your professional development
• The chance to be part of a growing Trust which is committed to collaboration, sharing best practice and professional learning
• A welcoming, supportive environment with good parental engagement
• A central MAT team providing a range of support services
Set on the edge of the North Downs, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the school has attractive grounds and excellent facilities.
We believe that local schools working positively together can transform the life chances of young people in our community, enabling them to thrive and succeed. If you are passionate about delivering the highest quality education for our pupils and you have a strong sense of community, then we would warmly welcome your application.
