FTE: £35,709 – £38,544
37 hours per week, Term Time plus 3 training days.
Monday to Thursday – 8am to 4pm
Friday - 8am to 3.30pm (with 30mins unpaid lunch daily)
We are seeking an exceptional Careers Leader to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future pathways of our students. This is a key strategic position, responsible for working collaboratively with senior leaders, curriculum leads, external stakeholders, and the local careers service to lead, and deliver a high‑quality, fully compliant careers programme that meets all statutory requirements and Gatsby Benchmarks.
The successful candidate will be an inspiring, forward‑thinking professional with the confidence and expertise to drive whole‑school careers provision, ensuring that every student is fully prepared for their next steps in education, training, and employment.

• A deep understanding of careers education, labour market information, and the post 16 landscape.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders.
• Confidence in leading change, evaluating impact, and driving continuous improvement.
• A student centred approach, with a commitment to supporting every learner to make informed, ambitious choices.
• Ideally, the Level 6 Careers Leader qualification (or willingness to work towards it).

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Disclosure check.
This post will involve contact with vulnerable groups (children, young people and/or adults) and is therefore, exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and subject to an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (DBS) Disclosure check.
