We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and compassionate Community Health & Wellbeing Worker to join our dedicated and forward-thinking central team at The Mead Educational Trust (TMET).
The Community Health & Wellbeing Worker will remove barriers to health, communication and specialist support, ensuring children and families receive the right help at the right time .

β’ Experience supporting communication needs through Speech and Language Therapy (SaLT) strategies and empowering parents of children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
β’ A proactive approach to coordinating support, acting as a key link between school, health, and community services
β’ The skills to provide early help and practical support that strengthens routines, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing
β’ A passion for connecting families to local health, wellbeing, and community opportunities
β’ Confidence in managing specialist pathways, including referrals, documentation, and follow-up
β’ The ability to deliver targeted 1:1 and group interventions that build confidence, communication, and engagement
β’ Strong organisational skills to track impact, record interventions, and monitor improvements in attendance and participation
