At The Mead Educational Trust, we have a vacancy for a Mead Centre Manager to join the friendly central team, based principally at The Mead Centre.
The Mead Centre Manger will provide high-level administrative, coordination, and quality assurance support to the Mead Centre’s Business and Operations Manager and the Trust’s Director of Governance, ensuring the effective, efficient, and compliant delivery of Trust-wide governance and operational compliance across the Mead Centre, including finance, HR, operations and health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Support to the Business and Operations Manager
• Provide high-level administrative and coordination support across all Mead Centre operations.
• Support Mead Centre health and safety, facilities, and compliance processes, maintaining accurate records and reporting as delegated.
• Deliver HR and safeguarding administration, including Single Central Record updates and safer recruitment processes and checks for all central staff and volunteers.
• Coordinate consultant and contractor engagement across the Mead Centre, ensuring all vetting and documentation meet Trust / statutory requirements
• Manage internal and external communications for the Mead Centre, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional exchange of information across teams and stakeholders
• Maintain and improve efficient systems and accurate records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
Support to the Director of Governance
• Provide administrative support/ coordination across the trust - including meetings, documentation, and statutory record keeping/reporting as delegated.
• Undertake Trust-wide governance assurance and checks as delegated.
• Coordinate Trust Board and Academy Councillor onboarding and offboarding, ensuring all compliance steps are completed

Location: The Mead Centre and other TMET schools as required
Responsible to: Business and Operations Manager
Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Contract Type: Permanent
