Grade 2 points 3-4 £2,883.76 - £2,929.12 per annum

Kibworth Mead Academy is committed to preparing students for life beyond school and the world of work. We are proud to offer a comprehensive careers programme for students from Year 7 to Year 11. As part of our continued development, we are bringing the organisation of Year 10 work experience placements in-house and are looking for a flexible and motivated individual to help lead this new initiative.
We are seeking a Work Experience & Careers Support Coordinator to support the planning, administration, and delivery of our in-house work experience programme and careers platform. This new and evolving role is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ futures.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the coordination and delivery of the Year 10 work experience programme
• Work flexibly for 1 day per week (5 hours) during term time (39 weeks)
• Be available to work full-time hours during Work Experience Week (beginning 11th – 22nd May 2026), supporting students and placements
• Manage and maintain our Unifrog careers platform
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records on our employer and placements database
• Liaise with employers, staff, students, and parents to ensure smooth communication and placement arrangements
• Contribute to the development of a sustainable and high-quality in-house work experience model
Person Specification
Essential:
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Confident using digital platforms and maintaining databases
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with students and parents
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Flexible and proactive approach
Desirable:
• Experience working in a school or education environment
• Understanding of careers education or work experience coordination
• Familiarity with Unifrog (training can be provided)
Additional Information
• The role fits comfortably within a school day (9:00am–3:00pm)
• Hours are flexible and can be discussed at interview
• The position is offered on a part-time, term-time basis initially for 1 academic year
