Welcome

Our school is a close and caring community, which values each child as an individual. At Grayshott CE Primary School we equip our children with the academic, social and emotional skills necessary to meet the challenges of tomorrow. Staff are committed to encouraging high standards of work and behaviour.

We are proud to be a Church of England (voluntary controlled) school and part of the Diocese of Guildford. We are not a faith school - we accept children of all faiths or none - but have a distinctively Christian ethos, which underpins everything we do.

School Values and Vision

Our Vision

'Acorns to Mighty Oaks'

At Grayshott Primary School we are inspired daily by the nature that surrounds us, as illustrated by our acorn and oak leaf logo. The Bible uses the metaphors of people as trees, being ‘planted by the water’ and ‘bearing fruit for the healing of the nations'. Our vision is to nurture the whole child, rooting them in the Christian story and in a loving, supportive village and Church family. We aim to provide them with all they need to grow strong in moral character and concern for others and become life-long learners, in order to lead fruitful, fulfilling lives and make a positive difference in the world. “They will be called the oaks of righteousness.” Isaiah 61: v1-3
