At Hardingstone Academy, we strive to grow each and every day, pushing ourselves and supporting others to be the best they can be; whether that's within the classroom, or beyond.

We are teaching our children to be happy lifelong learners, who have an awareness of the world and their role in it, the determination to break through barriers, the ability to think critically and an awareness of how to be a positive global citizen, showing respect for all.

At Hardingstone Academy there is an understanding and respect for all, regardless of race, gender or ability.

At Hardingstone we believe every child should be:

  • nurtured and encouraged to be confident and independent learners
  • provided with a safe and stimulating environment
  • given the opportunity to achieve their full potential, through a challenging and enriching curriculum
  • motivated to learn both as individuals and collaboratively
  • inspired to make a difference and take chances
  • encouraged to always strive for improvement, in order to achieve excellence
  • encouraged to value and respect others, celebrating commonalities and differences

At Hardingstone we will always keep our eyes on the stars and our feet on the ground!

EMAT

Our school is proud to be an #EMATter school – part of the East Midlands Academy Trust (EMAT). We are a community of schools across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes.

We are driven by a strong moral purpose that every child has the right to outstanding teaching and learning. As a high performing trust we focus on three things: educational excellence, operational excellence and our #EMATters ethos, which is represented by our core values of inclusion, innovation and impact.

What does it mean to be part of a multi-academy trust?

East Midlands Academy Trust operates a supported autonomy model which means we are able to benefit from a wide range of support services, while retaining our school’s unique identity and character.

As a community of schools, we enjoy collaborative teaching and learning between schools, access to central services such as HR, finance, recruitment, IT and marketing, access to training and career development opportunities, and greater investment in our school environments.

Pupils benefit from access to greater opportunities, improved digital technology and access to quality-assured teaching and learning.
