About us

Everyone at Manorbrook is committed to creating a stimulating learning environment, where all children are encouraged and supported to be the best that they can be, in their learning, their play, their behaviour and their relationships with others. This commitment is summed up in our vision statement: 'Aiming for Excellence', and underpinned by our three core values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience.

We believe that every single pupil in our care deserves the best education possible. This inspires us to help them develop the skills and attitudes they will need to succeed as lifelong learners, and the qualities of character that will equip them for life beyond school, in an ever-changing world.

We also pride ourselves on developing close links with parents, volunteers and the wider community, for the benefit of the children.

School Values

As a school we have a strong and simple vision, which we summarise in the statement 'Aiming for Excellence'. This applies to every member of the Manorbrook family. We believe that excellent learning happens most successfully when underpinned by excellent behaviour, excellent relationships with pupils' families, and excellent links with the local community. Our teachers and teaching assistants strive for excellence in everything they do for the children in our care. They also benefit from the highest quality support, from the office staff and caretaker through to our dedicated governors and our parent association, The Friends of Manorbrook.

We are also immensely proud of our three core values: respect, responsibility and resilience. As we aim for excellence, we put these values at the heart of all we do, to help our children develop as learners, as friends, as considerate members of their community, and to provide them with attitudes and skills they will need when they move on to secondary school and later life.
