The Royal Borough of Kingston really is one of the liveliest and most vibrant boroughs of London. Life revolves around the Thames, with the buzzing market town of Kingston being the main attraction.

The main high street runs parallel to the river and many of its favourite restaurants can be found situated along the banks of the riverside.

With the popular Kingston University based here there is an abundance of bars and clubs to entertain the vibrant student population and younger residences.

The borough is home to some excellent schools, including the famous Kingston Grammar School with a history dating back to 1561. It also includes schools such as Tiffin School for boys and Tiffin Girls’ School, which both are highly regarded establishments.

Things to do in Kingston

Bentalls Centre - Shop till you drop at Kingston’s largest shopping centre. Full of all your high street brands this is a central point of the borough and provides everything you'll need all under one roof.

The Rose Theatre - A beautifully intimate setting. Sit on cushions in the front row and immerse yourself in some Shakespeare classic.

Chessington World of Adventure - One of the UK's largest theme parks, it serves all of us ‘kidults’ out there. With rides like Rameses Revenge, Vampire and Dragon Falls it will cater for all your thrill-seeking, adrenaline junkies out there.

Boating on the Thames - Relax and unwind by cruising along river for a chilled-out activity. This lets you discover the Thames as you’ve not seen it before.

The Albert Pub - Beautiful Victorian pub that dates back to 1855. The menu comprises of a seasoned mix of traditional pub classic and delicious specials. The pub proudly serves five ales on tap and a fabulous selection of wines.
