Overview

We are an innovative Multi Academy Trust, established in 2013. We currently have 20 member schools with new schools continuing to join us. We like to think our values and ethos set us apart from other Trusts in that we have a strong focus on empowering our member schools to drive their improvement journey whilst maintaining their own individual identity and community focus. We promote the autonomy of each of our schools by operating as an enabling organisation.

Through our Trust and Transform Applied, we offer unrivalled opportunities for professional development and networking, from specialist leadership support and mentoring for our Headteachers to bespoke CPD for teaching and support staff.

We have cultivated a strong supportive environment for our schools that utilises the collective skills and knowledge of our independent-minded Headteachers and practitioners, enabling our schools to achieve high educational standards.

About Us

As a trust we are committed to transforming the lives of all of the children in our schools and enabling them to achieve their full potential. We recognise that supporting and developing staff within our schools is vital to that aim. To that end we have created a nurturing, inclusive culture that places great value on the support, empowerment and development of all staff within our family of schools.

We have a highly skilled and experienced core team that is able to extend the capacity of member schools from strategic leadership through to classroom practice.

We are proud of the strong bond that has been forged across our partner schools whilst holding onto the strong commitment to all of our schools maintaining their own identity and place within their local community.

Annual Staff Survey

Our annual staff survey is an important opportunity for staff to tell us what they think about working for Transform. It is a confidential survey intended to support our stated ambition to be an “Employer of choice” and acts as a valuable benchmark to measure our progress against this aim.

Survey findings are shared with Trustees and Transform leadership to ensure that staff are listened to and actions taken from the feedback given. Over the last two years this has driven changes to the Transform Staff Benefits package, the way Trust vacancies are promoted via the website and reinforced the value of holding Trust-wide INSET days as well as the need for staff recognition at the end of the school year through Staff Awards.

We will continue to use this survey as a mechanism for continuous improvement and will invite all staff to complete the survey.

We Do Things Differently…

At Transform we like to think we do things differently, we are committed to providing a forward thinking, supportive environment in which to shape each of our member school’s improvement journey, without diluting their identity and community focus.

Our schools range in size from 210 to 700+ on roll, and are at different stages in their development, all but one rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted.

We are driven by the distinctive needs of each of our schools and whilst we have robust systems for accountability, each school has their own ethos and preserving these unique characteristics is a commitment made to every school when they join the Trust. As a Trust we aim to enable Headteachers to lead and develop their school in line with their own vision.

  • Individual school identity is important to us
  • Schools work together to improve and thrive – every school has something to offer
  • Shared working, learning and development for staff at all levels
  • High Impact support available from the Trust and Transform Applied.
