Our Vision

At Arnbrook Primary School we are dedicated to improving the lives of children in our local community, through the provision of an outstanding education. We have a relentless focus on excellent teaching and learning, exemplary behaviour from our pupils and ensuring our children experience a rich and inspiring curriculum which prepares them for their future lives.

About Us

Arnbrook Primary School is a warm, caring and friendly school community. We are proud of our pupils’ behaviour and attitude towards their learning. All staff can expect to work in a calm and orderly environment, supported by senior leaders, with a positive and effective behaviour policy.

We are very proud of all our pupils’ successes at Arnbrook & aspire for high levels of academic achievement for all. Our pupils have consistently good outcomes, in many cases higher than national averages, at the end of EYFS, Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2.

Our curriculum is carefully planned and sequenced, with memorable experiences throughout. All subject leaders are provided with subject leadership time and opportunities to lead & develop their subject areas. With many exciting new initiatives across the school, and a staff team dedicated to improving teaching and learning, we are on an amazing journey. If you’re looking to make your mark, Arnbrook’s the place to be.

The school is keen to develop pupils into outstanding citizens, with pupils leading the way. We are involved in different projects locally and nationally to bring about positive change, for example helping improve access to clean water in developing countries, & supporting local food and clothing banks.

We are privileged to serve our local community, with supportive parents and families. We have a high proportion of disadvantaged children and our catchment area is an area of high levels of social deprivation. A commitment to going the extra mile for our pupils is vital to us at Arnbrook as we face many challenges that come with working in areas of deprivation. Arnbrook staff all share a “can do” philosophy and have very high expectations of the children.

We know that happy, motivated staff are essential to a successful school. That’s why we provide a range of professional development opportunities, staff wellbeing days, free health checks and much more. We are always looking at ways of ensuring teacher workload is manageable. We’d like to think that we all have a pretty good sense of humour too!

We take pride in the fact that each of our schools has its own unique identity and way of being. Our success so far has been founded on the principle of professional freedom enhanced by Trust support systems and rigorous quality assurance. The starting point for us at ONE Academy Trust is to ensure that our very purpose is clear and understood by everyone. We are a Trust that holds trust on behalf of our children and staff.

What unites ONE Academy Trust is our agreement on a broad set of principles. We believe in respect, in caring and valuing people, in an inclusive and ethical approach and in nurturing a culture of continuous improvement.

Our staff feel privileged to work alongside so many amazing people, delivering high quality curriculums and provision within safe environments for our children. So many people contribute to our successes, which is what makes the quality of our Trust sustainable.

Our Values

All our work in school is underpinned by the following four values.

Respect: We aim to foster a sense of social responsibility in all our pupils and help them develop into outstanding citizens and to ensure they are well prepared for life in modern Britain.

Enjoy: We believe in instilling a sense of belief in all pupils that they can succeed; raising aspirations and developing a love of learning.

Achieve: We believe in providing opportunities for the best possible achievement of all children in a climate of high expectation.

Inspire: We want all children to be inspired by their experiences at Arnbrook; inspired to learn and grow even more, inspired to make a positive contribution to the local and wider community now and in their adult lives.
