At Bellfield, we believe that all children can succeed in their education by following our school vision, 'Bellfield Primary School: Believe, Persevere, Succeed.'

By following this vision, we encourage all children to reach their full potential.

Bellfield is one of four founder schools of Hull Collaborative Academy Trust (HCAT) and is extremely proud to be influencing over 6,500 children Hull and the East Riding!

At Bellfield, we aim to foster the talents within every child, develop confidence and independence and provide a wealth of opportunities for children to develop a love of learning.

We value the contributions that every member of our community makes to our school and celebrate successes regularly. We are an inclusive school where everyone is values and cared for.

Restorative principals are at the heart of everything we do. We firmly believe that it is the relationships we form that enable our children to flourish.

We encourage pupils to be reflective, resilient, social, and unafraid to take risks in what they do. At Bellfield, we value the important role of parents and carers, working alongside us to deliver a purposeful, bespoke education for our children.

We look forward to continuing our strong partnerships with you.

Our Aims

Every school needs to have a clear set of aims and ethos in order to pursue excellence. Below you'll find an outline of ours which will show you the educational model that we strive for.

Our aim at Bellfield Primary School is for all children to be confident, enthusiastic and happy individuals who are brave and ambitious in all that they do.

Our restorative approach will enable children to become inclusive team players and problem solvers who treat each other with respect and empathy.

We will provide an engaging curriculum designed to prepare children to be resilient whilst on their journey to becoming successful adults.

Here at Bellfield Primary School, all children will be championed and encouraged to be the best they can be.

We will:

Promote a restorative community where everybody's voice is heard.

Be inclusive; value and celebrate individuality and differences.

Support children to become confident, independent, resilient learners who experience success regularly.

Promote self-regulating children who resolve problems confidently.

Provide experiences that engage, enrich and enthuse our children.

Provide a safe, happy, stimulating environment.

Provide caring, dedicated staff who work hard and champion every child.

Value the support of parents, carers and the wider community.

About our School

pic5.jpg

Bellfield Primary School is a small, friendly school with a real family feel. There is one class in each year group and a 52 place nursery. Currently there are 214 children on roll plus 31 nursery children.

Our building is organised over a ground floor with 8 classrooms, an intervention room, a learning HUB/library, a Year 5/6 Common Room/Learning Zone and a mobile classroom not connected to the main building. We have one hall, which is used for lunches, P.E and assemblies.

We work closely with our local secondary schools to ensure that when children leave us, their transition is as seamless as possible. Bellfield has a very good reputation in the local community and is regularly over-subscribed.

We have a strong history of sporting success and this year achieved the Platinum Sports Mark, after achieving the Gold Sports Mark for the previous four years. We have a high percentage of children that represent us in Level 3 competitions (County Level).

We are very proud of our community and strive to be the best! Our children are a credit to us and really make Bellfield an enjoyable place to be!
