Chase Bridge first opened as a Primary School in 1953. Today we are a three form entry Community Primary School with about 680 pupils in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

Our school is a fantastic place to learn, achieve and thrive. With excellent teaching and an engaging curriculum, we are committed to help every child excel and reach their potential – academically and socially.

At Chase Bridge our vision is for children to excel at learning, express their talents and care for others. We have high expectations for everything we do, especially how we behave towards others. One of our most fundamental principles is that intelligence and ability are not fixed. Instead, we believe that ‘practise makes progress’ and if children learn skills such as resilience, reflectiveness, teamwork and empathy, they can achieve anything. We expect all members of the school community - children, staff, parents and governors - to support each other and work together in partnership to maintain our high standards and keep Chase Bridge a happy, vibrant environment.

About Us

Chase Bridge is a friendly, exciting and dynamic place where children look forward to each new day in a learning environment that is caring and creative. We want our children to achieve their full potential; be safe and happy; develop a love of learning; and the skills of independence to make informed choices.

Walking through the school gates it becomes apparent that Chase Bridge is a very special place. As part of our broad curriculum offer, we provide an exceptional range of opportunities for the children including an annual international rugby competition; orchestra; choirs; edible playground; apiary; and forest school. It also has a unique location being situated next to Twickenham Stadium: home of the Rugby Football Union.

At Chase Bridge we set high standards of work and behaviour. We expect all members of the school community – children, staff, parents and governors – to work together to maintain these standards and for children to work purposefully towards achieving their best at all times. There is a clear vision and set of aims that underpin everything we do: this is for all children to excel at learning, be able to express their talents and know how to care for others.
