Chester Park Infant School is a 3 form entry infant school serving the community of Chester Park in Fishponds; this is a busy school with lots going on.

We pride ourselves on creating a safe, caring environment where children can learn to take risks in their learning. We work very closely with parents and carers to create a strong partnership between home and school.

Our curriculum is designed very much with the diverse cultural  context of our school in mind.  There is a strong emphasis on drawing on Bristol heritage (eg. Isambard Kingdom Brunel) and community links (eg. dental practice, school crossing patrols, supporting the Julian Trust) wherever possible when devising projects.

Chester Park Federation is made up of Chester Park Infant School and Chester Park Junior School. Both schools are 3 form entry schools serving the community of Chester Park in Fishponds. At Chester Park we spend a lot of time creating a positive learning environment where everyone learns to take risks in their learning and develop resilience. We are focused on making learning meaningful and ensuring the children are well supported in being ready for the next phase of their education.

This is reflected in the School Vision; POSITIVE RESILIENT MEANINGFUL. We believe our staff to be highly skilled not only in whole school class teaching, but also to be sensitive to the needs and talents of each individual.

We are a hard working team, supported by the Governing Body and the Parents and Carers who share a commitment for each individual to achieve their full potential. We are very proud of our schools and the way we maintain the environment we have. We are constantly looking to improve both the environment and the facilities for learning and teaching.
