About Us

It is our mission to equip children for their future with memorable, educational experiences that enable them to be ‘world ready’ and to achieve excellent outcomes for all children through our strong shared values and inspiring education.

Ask Parents, Carers, and children why they chose Clapham Manor as their Primary School and you will hear about the old-fashioned virtues of outstanding teaching, our imaginative and enriching curriculum and about belonging to a friendly extended family - about being part of a story that they themselves are still writing.

When walking around Clapham Manor Primary School’s three distinct buildings – the Victorian and the award-winning modern extension of the main school and the Forest School themed Nursery and secret garden – you see the physical manifestation of the seamless conjoining of traditional and cutting edge. The school remains at the heart of the Clapham community because it preserves many traditions and plays infinite variations on them. We strive, through our moto of ‘Growing Brighter Futures’ to ensure the community and children experience a base of solid academic learning wrapped up in education of the whole person for a 21st Century life.

Overview

Clapham Manor Primary School is an oversubscribed two-form entry school with a separate nursery building set in fantastic grounds on the edge of Clapham Common in the London Borough of Lambeth. At its last inspection the school was judged Outstanding by Ofsted.

The school is easily reached from most areas of London being situated in Clapham and only minutes away from Clapham Common Underground Station and other transport links.

Do come to visit us. We will offer you a warm welcome and will be pleased to let you see for yourself why we’re so proud of our school.
