Our Trust

Our Trust

The CLIC Trust is a family of five primary schools in the North-West of England. The Trust was established in September 2016, initially with two primary schools who had previously been in a Federation (Chorlton Park and Old Moat).

Absolutely central to the CLIC Trust is the principle of Changing Lives In Collaboration and that Together We Make The Difference. We learn with each other, we learn from each other and we learn on behalf of each other, as a very close learning community. There are many rich and varied opportunities for staff and pupils to collaborate to continually improve the quality of education and provision within our schools.

As a Trust, we are committed to embedding evidence informed practice, ensuring that strategic decisions and implementation, as well as staff professional development, is based on robust evidence and research.

We have established a clear five-year strategy and aims for the CLIC Trust, providing the focus for our development from 2020-2025. Our development aims relate to: leadership and management; governance; growth and resources and risk.

Welcome

Welcome

I am privileged to have led the CLIC Trust since September 2020, when I was appointed Chief Executive Officer. We have fantastic pupils and families, inspirational and dedicated leaders, teachers, support staff and whole school teams who make our schools and Trust an incredibly special place to be.

Our schools are all very different, each flourishing with the autonomy to maintain their uniqueness and design their quality of education and provision to best meet the needs of their communities, whilst learning and benefiting from being part of the larger CLIC family.

As a Trust, we are passionate about what we are achieving together, making our vision a reality through exemplary collaboration and engagement with evidence and research, within CLIC and also with partners across the education system, to secure the best possible quality of education in our schools.

I hope that you find our website informative; if you would like to find out more about us, please do get in touch.

Best wishes

Mrs. Jo Ashcroft
