BRISTOL FRENCH SCHOOL

to bring your french to life

The French School, founded in 1980, offers a unique service in the South West of England.

The EFB offers several services allowing everyone to learn French while developing their skills in a French-speaking cultural context.

The quality education provided by qualified and experienced French-speaking teachers allows children, from the age of three, to learn or improve their knowledge of the French language until secondary school.

It is based on the characteristics of the school:

- A team of particularly experienced and committed professionals who pay attention to children and students,

- The friendly and family atmosphere of an establishment on a human scale, bringing together a real community,

- Quality teaching in French,

- Collaboration with parents,

- A school, a living space for children and their families (after-school club, parents' association).

- Services adapted to your children

About Us

The French School of Bristol is a non-profit association (registered charity (900410) and a limited liability company (2463900).

It is managed by an advisory board and 3 “directors” made up of parents and Francophiles.

The EFB's mission is to offer quality education provided by qualified and experienced French-speaking teachers.

French lessons are adapted to the needs and abilities of the children who, depending on the services offered and their experience of the language at home, will be able to understand, speak and/or read and write French.

Students thrive with other children who have a similar experience of learning another language.

They discover the language and the culture in a stimulating environment placing the well-being of the child at the heart of our educational mission.

The EFB offers different services depending on the age of the children and whether they are already French-speaking or if they want to learn French as a Foreign Language (FLE).
