Headteachers Welcome

Welcome to Eldene Nursery & Primary School.

I feel very proud to be given the opportunity to lead such a special place - one where respect, equality and a strong sense of community sit at the heart of everything we do. I recognise the huge responsibility we have to do the very best we possibly can for the children.

We are an inclusive school with high expectations for all, committed to celebrating diversity and ensuring that every child feels valued, supported and inspired. Our dedicated and passionate staff nurture a lifelong love of learning, helping every child grow in confidence, curiosity and creativity. Together, we are creating learners for life.

We are fortunate to enjoy extensive outdoor green space, including our very own woodland, which enriches our curriculum and provides wonderful opportunities for exploration, wellbeing and outdoor learning.

Our school offers a rich and supportive environment for all learners: a Nursery, Reception, three classes in KS1, six classes in KS2, as well as Specialist Resource Provisions (SRP) for both KS1 and KS2. Every part of our provision is designed to ensure that each child can thrive and reach their full potential.

Thank you for visiting our website. I hope it gives you a sense of the warmth, ambition and inclusive spirit that make our school such a vibrant and welcoming community.

Please do get in touch with our school office to arrange a time to come and look for yourself. We look forward to welcoming you into our Eldene family.

Vision and Values

Work together, learn together, succeed together

Vision and Values

Our core values are:

• I will show care and respect
• I will include everyone
• I will persevere
• I will challenge myself
• I will grasp opportunity

At Eldene, our highest priority is to make sure that we work together to ensure the children in our care have the information and skills they need to help them succeed at learning and make good progress. We want children to leave our school able to read, write and understand maths, but there is far more to it than that.

So, we have created a ‘vision’ for our school - our hopes and aims for everyone in our school community.

We started with the ‘core values’ which we want to see in action, every day, by everybody in our school and finished up with our ‘vision’.

Work together, learn together, succeed together
