About Us

The college offers a range of individualised education programmes based within local communities. All programmes are tailored to the needs of each individual with the starting point being that they feel safe in the environment that they are in. Once this is achieved it allows our staff to work with them to develop and improve their skills to enable them to live more independently once they leave the college.

Our education provision is based upon our belief that young people achieve through experience and this is reflected in the activities provided in our programmes. Students will undertake work experience and we hope that for some of them this will lead to a supported internship.

Homefield also provides a range of services for those who remain as part of our lifelong learning provision. These include; supported work experiences, day services and community enterprises.
