Welcome

Caring, Sharing and Learning Together!

Welcome to King's Court First School. We are a small village school in Old Windsor with a caring community. Our school is a first school educating children from 4-9 years old. We currently have 191 children on roll.

At King's Court First School we aim to provide every child with the best possible academic, social and moral education. Our school's ethos is based on care and consideration, encouraging respect for the beliefs, feelings and needs of others. We will provide an environment in which all children are happy and can develop self-awareness and a sense of responsibility, enabling them to respond with informed judgement to the challenges they meet.

We believe that the school's curriculum should provide memorable, creative experiences which are rich in opportunities for high quality learning for every single pupil. The children are the centre of everything we do. We believe that children should develop mastery skills across the curriculum and aspire to follow their dreams! We aspire to develop our children's confidence to ask questions and begin to decide what they want to achieve in their careers, whether they want to be historians, geographers, mathematicians or artists, or quite likely, roles that haven't yet been invented! We aim to create life-long learners in our children so they can give the best contribution to society.

We are a school which has much to celebrate, not least our picturesque grounds which provide extensive educational opportunities for our school community. Our children are encouraged to take pride in this favoured setting and to play their part in maintaining its richness.
