On behalf of all the children, staff and Trustees, I would like to warmly welcome you to Lever Edge Primary Academy

At Lever Edge Primary Academy it is our mission to nurture and raise the aspirations, achievements and life chances of all pupils, so that they are able to grow and develop into lifelong learners and achieve their full potential; leading happy, healthy, fulfilled lives, contributing positively to our community.

Lever Edge Primary Academy is a large two form entry primary with 420 pupils on roll in the main school and 78 pupils across our nurseries. It has been an integral part of the community for over sixty years, earning the reputation for providing an excellent quality education for the children of Great Lever, and has been graded as Outstanding by Ofsted.

We are proud of our school and this is reflected in the quality of the building, which is very well maintained and very clean. It is also reflected in the very good behaviour of our pupils and the quality of work displayed in the classrooms and around the school, and the high academic standards that are achieved.

We want the very best for our pupils. We aim to provide a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment with high standards and expectations - an environment which encourages high moral standards, courtesy, respect and good behaviour. Our pupils are happy and everyone feels valued.

High quality teaching and learning ensures pupils are self-confident learners who actively engage in their learning and make significant progress.

Lever Edge offers a broad, balanced and rich curriculum, which pupils enjoy, ensuring they have the opportunity to develop their artistic and physical skills as well as their academic skills, and that their understanding of the world is enhanced.

Parents and prospective parents are welcome to visit school and speak to staff so they can share in their child’s education. By working in close partnership with parents, we will do our best to ensure that Lever Edge Primary Academy is a happy place for everyone.

Our successful school has a happy, vibrant and dynamic environment, providing holistic and engaging education for children from Nursery to Year 6.

Children’s behaviour is exemplary and the school is a stimulating and vibrant place for all to work and learn.
