Headteachers Welcome

Welcome to the website of Malmesbury Church of England Primary School. I hope you find it interesting and informative. This is a happy community, where we develop rounded children with a love of learning and the confidence to meet life’s challenges. Our ethos is summed up in the statement ‘Growing together in wisdom and love; discovering life in all its fullness.’

With consistently high academic results, sporting excellence and a superb building and grounds, the school has much to be proud of. However, there is never a moment for complacency, so we are constantly striving to improve. We reflect the community which we serve: one with the proudest of histories but also at the cutting edge of innovation. As a Church of England Academy our values inform, infuse and enrich everything we do. Love, Respect, Courage, Kindness, Creativity and Independence are the heart of our school.

Our School Vision

Following widespread consultation of pupils, parents, staff and governors we have developed a new school vision statement. Some of our aims have been achieved already and others are under way. Most are things we will work on over the coming 2 to 3 years. Some will require longer term planning, harder work and real determination to achieve in a 5 year timescale.
