Meadow View Farm School caters for up to 40 pupils aged 5 to 11 who have an Education and Health Care Plan.

The school is an outstanding provision for children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

Meadow View Farm School is set in a rural location within 6 acres of Leicestershire countryside, which includes the farm and Forest School.

The school’s ethos is of nurture and challenge.

Given the small size of the school and the levels and experience of staff, it is expected that the children will make excellent academic progress alongside strong improvements in their social and emotional needs.

The farm setting provides a unique opportunity for the children to learn about the need to take responsibility for others as well as themselves.

There is an emphasis on both indoor and outdoor learning, and on relating the two to each other.
