Old Park Primary School celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2022. Housed in a pleasant, single storey building surrounded by extensive playing areas, the school is within easy reach of Junction 9 of the M6.

The catchment area consists of local authority, privately owned and housing association property, reflecting the very varied socio-economic backgrounds of our children. Most children transfer to Wood Green High School with which there are excellent links.

The school currently has two forms of entry. The school organisation comprises of a Foundation Stage unit and two classes in each of the year groups from Year 1 to Year 6. Teachers plan work cooperatively within phase groups, alongside dedicated and skilled support staff.

The school was judged to be Outstanding in our last three OFSTED inspections, the most recent in May 2024. We have a record of raised standards.

These values are explored in everything we do at Old Park, including our Well-Being curriculum, enrichment activities and assemblies. They are celebrated each week through our ‘Values Ambassador’ award where a child from each class is acknowledged for demonstrating an Old Park value.
