Our school is located in Camberley, which has a good mix of accommodation, independent shops
and high street names as well as a purpose built, modern entertainment complex
“The Atrium”, featuring a wide selection of restaurants, a children’s indoor
pay area, cinema and bowling. Both The Mall Camberley and The Atrium shopping
centre have experienced a flurry of new tenants since the start of 2014, which
are a welcome addition to the already vibrant town centre. The surrounding
villages have an incredible history starting in the neo-lithic period, moving
through to a Royal hunting ground at Bagshot Park in the 14th century and
notorious highway men in the 17 and 18th centuries. The military arrived
in 1853 and the National Rifle Association came to Bisley in 1890.
There are 2 museums
with free entry: the Royal Logistical Corps Museum at Deepcut Barracks,
and the Surrey
Heath Museum in Camberley where the heathland story is a permanent display. The
Surrey Heath Archaeology Centre at Bagshot houses many exciting finds and gives
regular talks by resident and visiting experts.
Frimley Lodge
Park is a multi-award winning “Green Flag” park and includes access to the
Canal, a miniature railway, pitch and putt, “Flourish” community garden, BBQ
hire, play areas and sports pitches. Health and fitness opportunities are
numerous including two purpose built leisure centres (the Arena and Lightwater),
private gyms, numerous golf courses (including Camberley Heath, Pine Ridge and
Windlesham) and water sports on Mytchett Lake.
Camberley railway
station is situated south of the town centre on the Ascot to Guildford
line. It is connected to Guildford, Aldershot and Ascot by South West Trains with two
trains per hour in either direction. Nearby Blackwater station (situated
perpendicular to the A30 on the border of Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire) on the North Downs Line is operated
by First
Great Western, with trains running to Reading, Guildford, Redhill and Gatwick Airport.
Several bus

& The Thames Valley to Bracknell; Arriva Guildford
& West Surrey to Guildford via Woking; Stagecoach South to Aldershot,
